Privacy & inquiry handling
Last updated: 4 October 2026.
ALUR is based in Japan. For questions about this notice or your information, email yvonne@alur.jp.
What we collect and why
If you send the form, ALUR receives your work email, company, Japan question and submission time. If you arrived through an outreach campaign, the source and campaign labels may be attached to the inquiry. ALUR uses these details to respond, assess whether a useful test is feasible and manage that conversation. Please do not include confidential documents or sensitive personal information in your first inquiry.
Where your inquiry goes
The form stores your inquiry in the site’s private lead database. Site hosting and database storage are provided through Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. The website does not display inquiries publicly. After saving your inquiry, the site attempts to send an internal notification to ALUR and an acknowledgement to your work email through Resend. Resend processes the recipient addresses and message content needed to deliver these transactional emails. A delivery problem does not erase your saved inquiry. If you contact ALUR by email, your email provider and the receiving mailbox provider process that message.
Simple usage measurement
The site records aggregate counts of page views, inquiry starts, successful or failed submissions, contact-link clicks and scroll depth, grouped by day and a broad source category. These measurements use no analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Your name, email and question are not included in analytics events.
Spam prevention
The form uses an empty-field spam check and a rate limit. A short-lived hash derived from the request’s network address is used to limit repeated requests. ALUR’s application does not store the raw network address. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and secure the site.
Your information and choices
ALUR uses inquiry information for the inquiry and any resulting work, rather than automatically enrolling you in a newsletter. It is retained while needed for the conversation, service administration or applicable obligations. You can ask ALUR to correct or delete your inquiry information by emailing the address above. Direct email is available if you prefer not to use the form.
